RESIDENCY · REQUIRED

Apply for family reunification (reagrupación familiar) — available after ~1 year of legal residence with a renewed permit; needs an adequate-housing report and means (≈150% IPREM + 50% per extra member). Not needed if family applied together initially.

Reagrupación familiar is the route for bringing family members after you've settled, rather than applying together at the start. The title carries the essentials: it opens after your first renewal, and asks you to show adequate housing and means. It's document-heavy and regional practice varies — one of the steps where a gestor most clearly earns their fee.
WHEN IT'S DUE
Due within 365 days after your residency is established.
WHY IT MATTERS
A legal requirement for your situation. Verified against an official government source (AEAT, extranjería, BOE).

LOLA'S TIP
Book the cita previa now — appointment slots are the real bottleneck, not the paperwork.
